Chang holds a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Florida and a Bachelor of Engineering in Architecture degree from Nantong University in China. Liu has assisted architects in schematic design, floor plan drawing, diagram analysis, modeling, details development, 3D Modeling, material specifications, and high quality presentation books for projects in China and USA. Chang worked as Junior Architectural Designer for VARCH International Architectural Design Consulting Co. and as Intern Architect for Suling Architectural Design Co. in Shanghai.

Chang is highly proficient in Revit, Rhino, Autocad, Adobe Creative Suite, 3DS Max, Grasshoper Ecotect, Premier, Sketchup, and V-Ray. His architectural awards include First Prize at the Nantong University Structure Innovation Competition, Merit Prize at “An’Lai” Cup Architecture & Environment Design Competition, and Advanced Individual Prize at the Bureau of cultural relics of the People's Republic of China Competition.

Liu’s published work includes “Starving from Orient and Occident- From Female Textile School to Research Nantong Early Modern Architectures” - First Author, Published on National coral journal Sichuan Building Science in 2013 and “Preliminary Probe into Ancient Town Protection Mode in Yuxi” -Third Author, Published on China City Construction in 2010.

At Shinberg.Levinas, Chang has contributed to multiple projects, including Temple Anshe Hesed in Erie, PA; Congregation Beth Ahabah in Richmond, VA; Buenos Aires Residence in Buenos Aires, Argentina; and have assisted on proposal and publication submissions.
